Family photographs are important for many reasons. They capture memories, document growth, and show the world our most valuable relationships. For some people, family pictures are a way to remember a loved one who has passed away. Images, such as memories and stories, are part of our legacy.
We hold them, we pass them on. It is a gift to be able to share a picture of moments, details, people, places, and things with those we love so that they too can even feel a glimmer of the joy we feel when we think about those times. I certainly hope this is the case for artist Allison Reimus’ family. They recently moved from Chicago to New York City.
And I have to say their lifestyle family session that I did for them is PURE GOLD. Studies show that displaying your family photos prominently in your home sends the message that your family is important to each other and that you honor the memories you’ve created together.
